Safety valves

This series of safety valves are mainly used for side channel blowers and vacuum pumps. The safety valve is primarily suitable for protection against excessive pressure differentials in compressors and vacuum pumps. In addition, the safety valve can be used to limit the system pressure. When selecting the safety valve and the pressure relief valve, the system pressure limit and the accompanying flow rate are to be taken into account. An optimally dimensioned safety valve has a limited hysteresis, the area in which the valve opens up to the maximum pressure is relatively small, and does not resonate with pressure fluctuations in the system. If the system regularly activates the pressure relief valve then a silencer is recommended. Vacuum valves are usually equipped with a filter in order to prevent the accidental suction of material from the environment.
